James Gilliver

James established an IT business in 1993 after 10 years of working for a large electronics company where he gained experience in various disciplines including software development, technical support, sales and marketing.

His first client - a firm of solicitors in Newcastle-under-Lyme - formed the basis of what soon became a flourishing business, supporting a range of customers from many different commercial backgrounds.

Sinapsis was created almost a decade later when James merged his business with another consultancy to further enhance the services on offer to clients.

 

Neil Gaskell

Neil joined Sinapsis in 2004 after four years at IBM Global Services where he worked with some of the UK's best known Blue Chip companies.

He has been involved in computing and programming from an early age and cares deeply about IT and new technologies. He particularly enjoys building realistic and robust computer systems that can be used by real people.

 

Tom Cowan

Tom has been passionate about computing for as long as he can remember. After graduating from Lancaster University with a degree in Computer Science, he joined a local software firm providing large scale software solutions to some of the UK’s leading retailers.

In 2003, Tom began working as a contract software and website developer, and has since provided a variety of computing services to many regional and national clients.
